Get Ready for XR:AI Hackathon — Final Details & Schedule Inside! 🚀
Dear participants,
We are looking forward to seeing you at the XR:AI-hackathon from November 13-15 in Munich! Below you will find recent organizational information:
1) Venue
The hackathon will take place at TUM Think Tank, 1st floor in Richard-Wagner-Straße 1, Munich. For participants joining online, the open and closing events will be streamed via Zoom. The Zoom link will be distributed via DevPost annoucement and the discord channel.
We will have three rooms for workshops and working space for students, mentors, and partners. Rooms are open from 9:00 to 22:00.

Balcony – social space
If you are TUM Student, you can access StudiTUM 24h.
2) Food / Catering
We plan to provide food throughout the three days for all participants and lunch / dinner for mentors and partners.
3) Technical infrastructure to check for the student
Participants have to bring their own laptops. We will provide VR-glasses, but participants are welcome to bring their own equipment.
4) Discord channel
Our Discord channel is ready to use, participant can start with matchmaking in Discord or DevPost. Groups should not be bigger than 5. Here the discord link: https://discord.gg/MtSCCNaH8y

- 10:00-10:45 Kick Off Session // Challenges will be announced (45min, hybrid)
- 14:00-14:30 Walk-In Session / Check in for students (hybrid)

- 09:00-22:00 TUM Think Tank open as student hub (all rooms)

- 08:00 End of Hackathon (stop submission)
- 09:00-12:00 Jury grading the projects

6) Expectations regarding project implementation
Participants must work and submit in groups of no more than five members. Projects will be evaluated based on several criteria, including technical innovation and concept, potential business impact, integration of ethical considerations, and overall creativity. With these criteria in mind, ensure that your team brings together a diverse set of skills and perspectives.
